Our way of doing things.
Our financial planning process is broken up into 5 key stages, each of which help us to get a better picture of you, and help you to get to where you want to end up.
1. Discovery
We meet up for a relaxed discussion over a coffee, where we take the time to understand what it is that makes you want to get out of bed in the morning. What you would like to do more of, and also what you would like to do less of in life. This will include your goals, hopes and dreams, even if you may think they are unlikely. This meeting also gives us the opportunity to ensure that we are a good fit and want to work together.
2. Collate
Once we have a good understanding of your values and have explained our service, we will only then ask you to collate some information for us. These are your existing financial resources that you currently have to meet your aspirations. We feel that understanding your finances starts with understanding you as people and what you truly value.
3. Build
Next, we will analyse the information that you have kindly provided in line with the discussions at our coffee chat, and produce a first draft of a plan to show how well equipped you already are, and how some tweaks may even improve your situation or provide more or different opportunities.
4. Implement
Once we have chatted over the first draft of a plan, we will take things forward to implementation and build the agreed plan incorporating any recommendations. This can be repeated as many times as it takes until you are happy with the progress made.
5. Review
We don't leave you there. Plans can change and anything that we have arranged needs to be fluid enough to move with your changing life. That is why it is extremely important to get together at least every 12 months to ensure that things are still on track, or make any changes that may need to be made.

Our financial planners are Chartered.
This means that our Planning team has undergone some of the highest level qualifications to ensure they are offering you the most professional advice.

How we charge
We know that it can be complex to understand how much you will pay when working with a financial planner. That's why we keep things simple, and outline our charges clearly ahead of working with you.
1. Initial Meeting
We don't charge anything for our initial meeting. This is at our cost, and is designed to get to know you and your family.
2. Implementation
If you decide to work with us, we may provide you with some recommendations alongside your financial plan.
If there are recommendations required, we charge a fee of 1.5% on the first £250,000 invested and 0.5% fee on any remaining investment over the initial £250,000.
This is subject to a minimum initial fee of £2,200 and a maximum fee of £10,000 for implementation and initial financial plan.
This fee is to cover the costs of the planning process and implementation process detailed above. It is also to cover the associated regulatory costs and risks associated with providing financial advice.
3. Ongoing Support
If after this initial process you choose to become an ongoing client, our Ongoing Charge for full financial planning starts at 1% per annum of the funds under our influence. This will reduce based on the size of the assets we control.
Our ongoing service is designed to track your financial plan and ensure that your finances remain suitable for you.
